After a major storm event like hail, building owners face two problems at once: understanding what was actually damaged, and substantiating it well enough to reach agreement with an insurance carrier.
Inspection first
Armko will inspect the roofs that may have been damaged and provide roof samples for lab testing where that is required. Lab results matter in a hail claim, because visible surface marks and genuine loss of system performance are not the same thing — and the difference is exactly what gets disputed.
Technical assistance through the claim
We provide technical assistance to the owner while the extent of damage is being established. Our role is technical, not adversarial: we document conditions accurately so both the owner and the carrier are working from the same evidence.
From agreement to bid
Once the owner and the insurance carrier come to an agreement as to the extent of the damage, Armko prepares the plans, details, and specifications for bidding. That continuity matters — the party that documented the damage is the party that specifies the repair, so nothing is lost in translation between the claim and the construction documents.
From there the normal project controls apply: pre-bid conference, bid analysis, construction observation with weekly job visits and written observation reports, punch lists, and review of close-out documents including warranty.
